Binbrook

Located in the township of Glanbrook, Binbrook is a peaceful and picturesque community approximately 30 minutes from downtown Hamilton. With vast open fields, stunning hiking trails, and a sparkling lake, Binbrook is an outdoor lover’s paradise. A convenient location and vibrant downtown area also means everything you will ever want or need is readily available.

LIVING IN BINBROOK

Life in Binbrook may be tranquil and safe, but it is also bursting with excitement and community spirit. Just ask anyone who has ever travelled here for the iconic Binbrook Conservation Area.

This sprawling natural wonder is breathtaking even in the winter. Cold weather activities include ice fishing (weather permitting), winter walks, and bird watching. Visiting during the off-season immerses you in unspoilt beauty that feels almost magical.

In the summer, the conservation area really comes to life – especially now that a day at the beach no longer requires a half-day drive. You can go for the afternoon and be home on time for dinner! Alternatively, you can pack a picnic so you have even more time for the epic inflatable water park and splash pad.

There are also plenty of other activities to enjoy once you dry off. For example, the tree-top trekking experience gives you an unbeatable vantage point to take in the spectacular views of the trees and lake.

Speaking of scenery, Southbrook Golf and Country Club is close by, offering you superior greens and even lessons and clinics to improve your game. Its onsite restaurant, Nineteen at Southbrook, is one of the most highly rated in the region. As beautiful as Binbrook is, there’s a lot more to it than rest and relaxation.

The bustling downtown area is full of little shops, cafes, and art galleries where you’ll find unique artesian items and delicacies you won’t see in the big city. Local concert venues and a little theatre provide access to live entertainment such as musicals and plays.

Binbrook also offers a wide range of culinary delights. If you’re looking for something sweet, check out Boa Bakery, a one-stop shop for fresh bread, desserts and coffee. The ice cream creations at The Parlour can only be described as legendary. For your main course, try local favourites like The Binbrook Grill or Slye Fox Binbrook.

No mention of this vibrant town can be complete without talking about the much-anticipated Binbrook Fair that rolls in every fall. The main grandstands feature breathtaking performances by top entertainers, and the Demolition Derby is one event you won’t want to miss. Young children will also find plenty to see and do, with activities like pony rides, face painting, and exciting entertainment. Of course, the midway is the real attraction, with games and rides that will make you want to come back every year.

OPPORTUNITY IN BINBROOK

Binbrook’s primary industry is agriculture, as evidenced by the many farms throughout the region. The downtown core also offers numerous employment opportunities in hospitality and professional services.
