Waterdown

Though part of the City of Hamilton since 2001, Waterdown retains its feel as a distinct and separate community. Located in the geographic centre of the Golden Horseshoe, it is simultaneously a thriving industrial hub while being full of the scenic wonders of the Niagara Escarpment. On any given day, you will encounter people of all ages exploring the many beautiful walking trails and conservation areas.

Interesting fact: This small village is bursting with star power, having been home to notable celebrities such as former NHL player Todd Harvey, actress Erin Pitt, and Canadian singer-songwriter Terra Lightfoot.

If you’re feeling adventurous, why not ride your bike along Snake Road, named after the twists and turns of the winding road–not the reptile.
