Speaking of popular events, the Winona Peach Festival is one you won’t want to miss. It’s your ultimate chance to sample delectable peach pastries and other treats while browsing the creative offerings of Stoney Creek and Hamilton’s best artists. 

Whenever you’re feeling adventurous, the Devil’s Punchbowl calls! This natural wonder was formed at the end of the last ice age and features two dazzling waterfalls which can be safely viewed from the Bruce Trail and several lookouts along the rim of the gorge. 

50 Point Conservation Area is the perfect site for a scenic picnic and refreshing swim in one of Lake Ontario’s warmest and cleanest beaches. You’ll also find 70 sites complete with hydro and water service should you desire to go camping without venturing far from home. Stoney Creek is also home to the Starlite Drive-In Movie Theatre, which is open from early spring to late fall.

If you’re seeking a higher education, you won’t have to look very far. McMaster and Brock Universities are both a short drive away, and Mohawk College offers a satellite campus right in Stoney Creek.
